A Message from the Lerma Family
Over the last several years Rose Lerma has been fighting the cancer that has spread throughout her body. A couple of weeks ago the family was notified by the doctors that they can no longer treat the cancer and gave her only a few days left with us on earth.
As you can imagine the great sadness her husband Richard felt hearing the news that the doctor's could not heal the love of his life and his soul mate of 49 years. The two have been blessed with a beautiful family consisting of 5 children, several grandchildren and the recent birth of their great grandson. Rose's spirit has stayed strong and she has promised Richard that when she leaves this earth that she will always be by his side.
Anyone who knows Rose knows her beautiful smile, her wonderful laugh as well as her stories of her romantic novels being read by many. Rose's dream came true around 2007, with her first novel, Seducing Annie being published by Champagne books, which was followed by a short story and another romance novel.
The family is in need of donations to help pay for Rose's funeral expenses. Rose does not have insurance and this blog has been established to accept donations to offset the family's expenses. We are asking friends and family for support in order to help the family give Rose a proper burial. Every dollar, five dollars, ten dollars, twenty, fifty, a hundred a thousand...whatever you are able to give, if it's just a penny, will help and is much appreciated.
Please pray for Rose and her family.
